The Sunday evening at Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed a heartfelt expression of devotion and gratitude from the devotees of Odisha through cultural offerings. The session began with students of Sai Anandam School, Bhubaneswar, presenting a dance of ultimate power, rhythm and cosmic energy, the Shiva Tandava. The devotees from Cuttack district then presented a drama titled ‘Thank You Swami’, bringing alive the deep bond between Bhagawan and the people of Odisha, highlighting the power of innocent devotion, selfless service and unwavering love.
The opening scene centred on the 81 types of devotion, with the children discussing the importance of knowledge, Sanskrit, and service. The episode of Lord Jagannath stopping His chariot to accept the offering of His ardent devotee Dasia Bauri demonstrated that love knows no distance or social boundaries. The story of Sabari, who waited patiently for Lord Rama, further emphasised how the Lord is held captive by unconditional love. The drama highlighted the dimension of service as spiritual practice through Prasanthi Seva and the Bal Vikas program. It also highlighted the Sai Rehabilitation Project (SRP), through which youth visit post-operative heart patients at their homes and provide loving care. For these patients, the loving presence of the youth becomes akin to a visit from Swami Himself.
Through moving narratives, amazing acting and unwavering devotion, the crew offered their gratitude and surrender at the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan. The presentation conveyed a simple yet profound message — God is won through pure and unsullied love. Whether through the innocent offering of a child, the patient waiting of a devotee, or the selfless act of service, it is the sincere call of the heart that reaches the Divine.
