In Sai Centres around the world there is a distinction between active member and devotee.
People who want to play a more active role and participate in the life and governance of the centres must register as active members in their respective Sai Centre in the last open census, as established by law.
Active membership in any Sai Organisation has been, is and will always be 100% free following the guidelines of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in this regard.
