Marking the 40th anniversary of the MBA program at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, the students offered a heartfelt cultural presentation expressing their gratitude to the Founder Chancellor, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who inaugurated the program on August 21, 1986.
Conceived and personally nurtured by Bhagawan, the unique MBA curriculum placed Values and Ethics at its very foundation, integrating management knowledge with Indian culture, human values and spiritual discipline. Recalling His close involvement in shaping the curriculum, faculty, projects and industrial exposure, the students reflected on how Bhagawan envisioned education as a means to develop compassionate and responsible leaders.
Through devotional music, narration and evocative episodes from the Ramayana, the presentation brought alive the ideals of dharma, sacrifice, surrender and selfless love. Bhagawan’s teaching, “To love is to follow,” became a guiding theme, reminding the students that true gratitude lies in living by His teachings.
The presentation concluded with a deeply personal redefinition of MBA — “Mind On Baba Always” — expressing the students’ prayer to remain forever guided by Bhagawan’s name, love and mission.
