Ayudha Pooja Celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam | Day 5 Proceedings of Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna | Oct 18, 2026

With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the sacred tradition of Ayudha Pooja was observed at Prasanthi Nilayam as part of the ongoing Devi Navaratri and Dasara celebrations.

Ayudha Pooja, an integral part of the Dasara festivities, is an expression of gratitude towards the tools, instruments and resources that enable one to discharge their duties. Rooted in reverence and humility, the worship reminds us that every skill, every instrument and every opportunity to work is a blessing to be cherished and utilised for a higher purpose.

Following the cherished tradition initiated by Bhagawan, the Vahanas, including the Golden Chariot and other vehicles used by Bhagawan during His physical sojourn, were worshipped with reverence. The worship also extended to the tools, instruments and equipment used by various departments and staff members in the daily functioning of the Ashram. From those that facilitate essential services to those that enable the smooth conduct of daily activities, all were offered worship in a spirit of gratitude for the opportunity to serve.

The observance carries a deeper spiritual significance, reflecting Bhagawan’s timeless message of sanctifying work through devotion and selfless service.
