With the divine blessings of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre, a unit of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, had the sacred privilege of organising a massive online spiritual initiative, Collective Chanting of Sai Gayatri for Global Peace on this auspicious Sunday evening, June 15, 2025.
In a world increasingly clouded with unrest, fear, and insecurity, the Lord’s Name becomes a beacon of hope and a source of inner strength. Time and again, Bhagawan has reminded us that chanting the Divine Name purifies the heart, calms the mind, and brings solace in times of turbulence. And today, in response to His divine call, thousands united in one voice, one prayer, and one purpose—to invoke peace and harmony through the chanting of Sai Gayatri.
We are deeply humbled to share that this noble initiative received over 23,000 registrations from spiritual seekers across the globe. Due to the limitations of the online platform, 10,000 participants were accommodated in this unique digital congregation.
A meticulous setup was put in place at the Sai Hira Global Convention Centre, featuring 10 high-end systems and 2 backup systems, all synchronised to handle the video and audio streams of the chanting participants. Each system managed 1,000 chanters, divided into 20 rooms of 50 participants each, all displayed on a giant LED video wall, making the unseen collective visible—a true symbol of unity in divinity.
As the sacred syllables of Sai Gayatri echoed from hearts across continents, one could tangibly feel the spiritual vibrations, peace, and a collective upliftment enveloping the atmosphere. The unity, sincerity, and devotion of each participant became a potent offering at His Lotus Feet.
Sri RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, was present throughout the session, observing every detail and ensuring seamless execution. After the chanting concluded, he personally expressed heartfelt gratitude to each and every participant for taking their valuable time to join this sacred mission. He reiterated that chanting the Lord’s Name is the greatest blessing and balm for the soul, and he shared how this event marks the spiritual prelude to the Centenary Celebrations of our beloved Bhagawan—with exactly 160 days to go.
Following the proceedings, Mr Sundar Swaminathan, Director –SSSMC, extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the hosts, moderators, and chanters for uniting in devotion and contributing wholeheartedly to this noble initiative
