‘Shirdi ke Mahalsapati, Parthi ke Kaun’ | Drama Presentation by the Sai Youth from Kanchipuram North District

Sept 8, 2025

The sacred Parthi Yatra of devotees from Kanchipuram North District drew to a sublime close this evening. With hearts steeped in devotion, the Sai Youth offered a moving drama weaving together the timeless saga of faith, devotion, and the Lord’s unfailing protection of His devotees.

The presentation revolved around the pivotal moment in the Shirdi Avatar, when Mahalsapati was blessed with the supreme responsibility of guarding the body of Shirdi Sai Baba for three days as Baba chose to transcend mortal consciousness before returning. Through this powerful episode, the youth explored a deeply stirring question: “Who, in the Sathya Sai Avatar, holds the mantle of Mahalsapati?”

The drama beautifully conveyed that in reality, every devotee can become a Mahalsapati when they take upon themselves the sacred duty of safeguarding the mission of the Lord with steadfast devotion, sincerity, and unflinching faith. With a touching blend of dialogues, music, and devotion, the youth highlighted that once one engages in God’s work wholeheartedly and selflessly, Bhagawan Himself stands as the eternal guardian—ever ready to protect His children in countless unseen ways. The poignant message that “God goes to any extent to protect His devotees and can manifest in any form to uphold them” was delivered with remarkable depth, leaving the gathering in Sai Kulwant Hall spiritually stirred and inspired.

Concluding the evening on a note of service and empowerment, Mr RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee – SSSCT ) and Mrs Himavahni Ratnakar distributed walking sticks, sewing machine, iron boxes, and other self-help tool kits, thereby encouraging the underprivileged to live with dignity and self-reliance. This noble gesture further reinforced Bhagawan’s message of “Love All, Serve All”, making the finale of the Yatra both inspiring and impactful.
