Reopening of Refurbished Chaitanya Jyoti Museum | 25th Anniversary | Oct 7, 2025

As the countdown draws closer — with just 47 days remaining for the Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Prasanthi Nilayam is aglow with renewed energy and sacred anticipation. Every corner of this spiritual haven is being lovingly rejuvenated to welcome the multitudes of devotees who will soon gather to celebrate the Avatar’s 100th Year of Love in Action.

Among these cherished landmarks, one radiant gem has come alive once again — the Chaitanya Jyoti Museum (translates to Flame of Consciousness). In a moment filled with grace and nostalgia, this magnificent edifice — inaugurated by Bhagawan Himself during His 75th Birthday Celebrations — steps gloriously into its Silver Jubilee Year, continuing to illuminate hearts with the story and message of the Divine Master.

This evening, following the Mangala Arati, the refurbished Chaitanya Jyoti reopened its doors, bathed in divine blessings and the collective joy of the devotees. The Malaysian Sai devotees, who undertook this beautiful work as an offering at His Lotus Feet, have done a truly commendable job — infusing the interiors with a serene Chinese-inspired aesthetic that feels both traditional and transcendental. The exquisite roofing, resplendent exteriors, and thoughtfully designed lighting have given the museum an ethereal glow, perfectly complementing the Full Moon that graced the Prasanthi skies.

As the fireworks lit up the horizon, painting the night with gorgeous multicoloured patterns, the air resonated with the joy and devotion of devotees witnessing yet another milestone in Sai history.
Coming just a day after the Mid-Autumn Mooncake Festival celebrations, this act of love and service by the Chinese and Malaysian devotees stands as a shining token of gratitude in the Centenary Year — a reminder that devotion knows no boundaries, and love, no language.

Devotees visiting Prasanthi Nilayam can now once again step into this rejuvenated Chaitanya Jyoti Museum to relive the fascinating story of Bhagawan’s divine life and message — a journey from light to Light, from consciousness to Chaitanya.

Truly, under the smiling moon and the shimmering fireworks, the Flame of Consciousness has risen once again — playing with the full moon, glowing brighter than ever as the world prepares to celebrate the Centenary of the Sai Avatar.
