As time flies, days pass, and the clock ticks closer to the celestial centenary — the grand moment that devotees across the globe have awaited with bated breath — the sacred fortnight of celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam now enters its most sanctified phase. The commencement of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Akhanda Bhajan officially heralded that phase this evening.
As the sacred strains of Shuklām Bharadaram Vishnum filled the air as a prelude to the traditional Ganesha bhajan, the chorus arose — sweeping the entire hall into a wave of spiritual fervour, hearts united in rhythm and remembrance.
The Ashram, decked in vibrant hues of light, radiated a festive glow, its very air pulsating with sanctity. Devotees, mesmerised by the splendour, found not only their eyes feasting on divine beauty but their souls nourished by the ceaseless flow of bhajans. The Sai Kulwant Hall was overflowing with devotees, many standing in the corridors, joyfully watching Bhagawan’s darshan on the LED screens and joining the bhajans with deep fervour — participating in every possible way in this sacred event.
As Swami once said, “Bhajans purify the atmosphere and sanctify the heart; sing with love, and God will be seated there.” This year’s Akhanda Bhajan carries a special aura — it is not merely twenty-four hours of singing, but the unified heartbeat of millions worldwide, resonating as one. Each bhajan is a garland of gratitude, each note a prayer, each name a step toward Swami.
Thus begins the Centenary’s grand spiritual overture — a call to remember, rejoice, and realise the Divine within, as the sacred sound of ‘Sai Ram’ reverberates across the globe.
