2nd Global Vedic Conference | Inaugural Session | Jan 23, 2026

Rooted in the eternal vision of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the 2nd Global Vedic Conference commenced on a sacred and elevating note, setting the tone for a journey of reflection, inclusion, and inner transformation.

This three-day conference, themed “Īśāvāsyam – Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” features inspiring talks by recognised speakers expounding on Vedic concepts and their contemporary relevance. It also includes a wonderful exhibition at the Satsang Hall within the Ashram, thought-provoking panel discussions at the Sai Hira Global Convention Centre, and enriching cultural presentations.

The inaugural session commenced with members of the Spiritual Wing of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations marching in reverence, offering their heartfelt gratitude to Bhagawan. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Mr RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, and Mr Nimish Pandya, All-India President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations.

After a powerful rendition of the Vedic anthem “Veda Ghoshana” by the members, the Conference Souvenir—lovingly prepared to encapsulate the spirit, purpose, and message of the conference—was formally released in the divine presence. Setting the intellectual and spiritual framework for the conference, Mr Subramanyam Gorti, National Vedam In-Charge, highlighted the core theme of integrated human progress. He emphasised that true well-being arises only when material advancement is harmonised with moral and spiritual values, as enshrined in the Vedas.

Delivering the Inaugural Address, Mr Nimish Pandya reiterated Bhagawan’s universal mandate that the Vedas belong to all, transcending barriers of caste, creed, and gender. He underscored that Vedic wisdom finds its highest expression not merely in chanting, but in living its values through Love All, Serve All and Help Ever, Hurt Never.
