16th Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Alumni Meet | Inaugural Session | Jan 31, 2026

The Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas – 16th All India Alumni Meet, themed “The Voice and Message of the Avatar,” unfolded as a deeply inspiring testimony to the timeless impact of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s divine blueprint for character formation. Around 2,500 Bal Vikas alumni, gurus, and students assembled at His holy abode, creating an atmosphere charged with devotion, gratitude, and shared purpose.

The proceedings began on an auspicious note with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by revered dignitaries. This was followed by a soulful rendition of the welcome song by ladies from West Bengal, whose melodious offering beautifully set the spiritual tone for the sessions that followed.

What gave the meet its unique radiance were the heartfelt reflections shared by alumni, each narrative echoing the quiet strength and clarity drawn from practising Sai values in real-world situations. One alumnus spoke movingly of complete surrender, where missing a crucial registration for a prestigious national event eventually unfolded into an unexpected divine orchestration—culminating in an invitation to present his project at the very same forum. Another alumnus recalled a deeply testing phase of life when he was falsely accused of examination malpractice, and how the values imbibed through Bal Vikas helped him remain steadfast, truthful, and resilient until justice prevailed.

The session also served as a moment of gratitude and recognition, as Achievement Awards were presented to Bal Vikas alumni from various states who have distinguished themselves in diverse professional arenas, exemplifying the practical application of Sathya Sai ideals in society.

Adding further significance to the occasion was the release of a commemorative coffee table book titled “Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas: The Voice and Message of the Avatar.” This beautifully curated volume brings together articles and reflections authored by Bal Vikas alumni and students from across India, capturing the living, breathing legacy of Bal Vikas and its transformative influence across generations.

The morning concluded on a graceful and uplifting note with a beautiful dance presentation by girls from Andhra Pradesh, leaving the audience with hearts full of devotion and renewed inspiration to live as true messengers of Bhagawan’s love and message.

Tracing its sacred origins to 1969, the Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas Movement was lovingly described as a Mahavruksha—a mighty tree—that today nurtures over 1,676 Bal Vikas centres through the selfless dedication of 21,370 gurus spread across the length and breadth of India.
