As the sacred night of Maha Shivaratri concluded this morning, its spiritual vibrations continued to linger at Prasanthi Nilayam. In this charged atmosphere of devotion, the management students from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Brindavan Campus, offered their heartfelt gratitude program ‘Hrudaya Sarathi’ at the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba.
Significantly, this is the very day—February 16—when Bhagawan launched Sanathana Sarathi in 1958, setting in motion a divine mission to guide humanity. Today, these young graduates prayed that He remain their inner charioteer—their Hrudaya Sarathi—as they prepare to step into the world after completing their studies from these hallowed portals.
The program featured moving personal testimonies in which the students shared accounts of miraculous recoveries—from a broken spine that doctors said would never walk again to the restoration of touch in an injured hand. Few spoke of their mothers’ prayers shaping their journey to the institute—one receiving his MBA selection letter on Mother’s Day, another fulfilling a divine assurance given to his mother even before his birth. The Brindavan Band Boys expressed their joy in disciplined practice, content with any effort that could bring a smile to Him.
Interwoven with these accounts, the students sang their hearts out in gratitude. As every song was offered, creative cards were placed at Swami’s Feet, and a blank floral canvas gradually came alive—filled with roses forming hearts within a heart—symbolising their offering of love from heart to Heart.
With gratitude in their hearts and values as their compass, these management students now stand ready to take flight—praying that their Hrudaya Sarathi continues to guide them inward, even as they journey outward into the world.
