Today in Puttaparthi, under a beautiful sunny sky, the Sai Centre of Busto Arsizio (formerly the Novara Centre) in Italy carried out a meaningful seva.
The Centre’s president, brother Daniele Noventa (SSSGC- Zone 6) together with other members of the Italian charity association “Villa Hegla ETS”, rented a little truck and distributed sacks of rice and garlic to villagers living about 20 km from Puttaparthi, near the forest.
According to the astrological calendar, it was the period of the black moon, during which rice and garlic are traditionally eaten.
‘Giving food and all the necessary supplies to people in serious difficulty, open our heart’ says Daniele. Selfless seva helps us to re-evaluate our lifestyle and appreciate what God gives us every day.
