With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield, marked another significant milestone in its journey of providing world-class healthcare completely free of cost with the inauguration of several advanced medical technologies by Mr RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, during his visit to the hospital on June 11, 2026.
The newly commissioned equipment, procured and installed over the last few months across multiple specialities, represents a substantial investment in patient care, clinical excellence, medical education, and operational efficiency.
Collectively valued at approximately ₹6.76 crore, these newly commissioned technologies reflect the continued commitment of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust to provide patients access to the latest advances in medical care completely free of cost, while simultaneously strengthening the institution’s capabilities in clinical care, education, research, and service delivery. This includes equipment funded directly by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust as well as through the generous support of philanthropic partners and CSR initiatives, including SBI Mutual Fund Foundation, GE Vernova through United Way Bengaluru, and Happy Reliable Surgeries Pvt. Ltd.
The occasion once again reflected Bhagawan’s vision that excellence in healthcare must always be coupled with compassion, selflessness, and equal access for all. Every new technology introduced into the hospital serves not merely as equipment, but as an instrument of healing and hope, enabling doctors and healthcare professionals to serve humanity with greater effectiveness and love.
