There is so much sadness in my heart, my mind wants to go back to the Mandir, to feel and experience those wonderful vibrations that fill the soul. It seems that a piece of my heart is left there, in Prasanthi Nilayam, but I would gladly leave it, I know it would be in good hands and would surely be protected by Swami. I would leave it there without any regrets. This sadness of mine is somewhat mitigated, by the memory of those moments spent in serenity and bliss, moments rich and full of great teachings that surely developed in me, a higher spiritual knowledge. I want to give an example: if we offer a child a piece of candy, we immediately see that his eyes begin to shine, his joy and contentment become visible, his heart is filled with gratitude, a smile of love lights up on his face. I am that child. If I am asked why does one go to Prasanthi Nilayam? My answer is only one, unequivocal and immediate; to replenish one’s spiritual energy. Yes, we are composed of energy, our body is composed of energy, we absorb and emanate energy. Let me give another example; let us take a battery as a reference. A battery loses energy with the passage of time, it must be charged to bring it back to full power. Personally, I left Italy with an eighty per cent charged ‘battery’, I returned from Prasanthi Nilayam with a one hundred per cent charged ‘battery’.
I came back with spiritual energy, at full strength, which is why one goes to Prasanthi Nilayam. However, my sadness will slowly fade away, remembering the words of the Great Master: no matter where you are, I will always be with you.
A heartfelt embrace.
