The evening session of the two-day Parthi Yatra by devotees from Chennai was marked by a vibrant cultural offering by the Bal Vikas children and alumni from Chennai South and Chennai South East districts, celebrating the timeless ideals of devotion, duty, and selfless service. The evening commenced with a graceful welcome dance by the Bal Vikas girls, followed by a colourful presentation of Sita Kalyanam by the Bal Vikas boys, depicting the sacred wedding of Lord Rama and Mother Sita.
The highlight of the program was the drama ‘Hanuman – The Epitome of 3Ds’, presented by the Bal Vikas boys. Through engaging narration, music, and dramatic sequences, the production portrayed the life of Hanuman as the perfect embodiment of Discipline, Duty, and Devotion. Drawing upon inspiring episodes from the Ramayana, the drama illustrated how steadfast discipline enabled Hanuman to acquire divine wisdom, how unwavering commitment to duty made him the ideal servant of Lord Rama, and how supreme devotion transformed every thought and action into an offering to the Divine.
Concluding with Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s message that “the one who serves occupies the highest position,” the presentation reminded devotees that the path of selfless service, grounded in discipline and devotion, is the surest way to spiritual fulfilment.
