Barely weeks after the grand Centenary Celebrations, Prasanthi Nilayam yet continues to radiate its sanctifying vibrations as another stream of devotees flows into the Abode of Peace. This week, devotees from Zone 9 of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council—including members from Mauritius, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, and Seychelles—have arrived for a three-day Prasanthi Pilgrimage, united by the theme “In Gratitude, We Gather.” With hearts overflowing in yearning, the devotees from these African and island nations have come to soak in the divine ambience, offer their collective devotion, and reconnect with the eternal message of Bhagawan.
The evening witnessed a deeply stirring presentation by the devotees from Mauritius, who offered a soulful musical drama titled ‘Truth, Righteousness & the Golden Illusion.’ Drawing from the Aranya Kanda and Kishkinda Kanda of the timeless Ramayana, the drama beautifully depicted Rama not merely as the valorous prince of Ayodhya but as the eternal embodiment of Sathya and Dharma, guiding seekers through the labyrinth of illusion. Through the touching stories of Jatayu’s sacrifice, Sabari’s purity of devotion, and Hanuman’s unparalleled love, the drama portrayed how unwavering faith, humility, and righteousness draw the Lord ever nearer to the devotee. Melodious songs, graceful choreography, and heartfelt acting unfolded at the lotus feet of Sai Rama.
Earlier in the evening, the audience was inspired by a heartfelt talk by Ms Roshny Nobin, Zonal Bhajan Coordinator, who shared the transformative journey that brought her closer to Bhagawan. She recalled how, at the age of 20, a devastating car accident that impaired one arm became the very turning point through which Swami entered her life with profound grace. Music, she shared, became His gift—a bridge, a healing, and a constant reminder of His presence. With touching sincerity, she described how bhajans turned her fear into faith, pain into devotion, and her sruthi into complete surrender at His feet.
