The hallowed grounds of Sai Kulwant Hall resonated with spiritual fervour as throngs of devoted seekers gathered in anticipation on the penultimate day of the supremely sanctifying Ati Rudra Maha Yajnam. The atmosphere was charged with divine energy as Vedic chants, rendered in a mesmerizing jugalbandi style during the Kramarchana & Ashtavadhana Seva, reverberated through the hall. At the heart of this sacred space stood the imposing Sayeeshwara Linga, adorned with magnificent garlands of saffron, white, and green, as reverential offerings enriched the sanctity of the rituals.Adjacent to the radiant Sayeeshwara Lingam, a beautifully adorned platform housed the enthralling golden idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, seated regally on their thrones. Bedecked with dazzling jewellery and thick, enchanting garlands of purple, yellow, red, orange, and white, the divine forms exuded celestial splendour, captivating every devotee’s heart.
The evening unfolded with the celestial Gauri Shankara Vivaham—the sacred union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, symbolizing the ultimate merger of the Jivatma (individual soul) with the Paramatma (Supreme Self). The head priest meticulously conducted the traditional wedding rituals, while Sri Karthik Gnaneshwar Bhagavatar & team beautifully rendered ceremonial wedding songs in multiple traditional Indian languages, perfectly capturing the essence of the sacred occasion.
Every ritual, from Kanyadaanam to the tying of the Mangalasutra, from joyous wedding games to the swing ceremony, garland exchange, and gift-giving, was performed with deep reverence. The vibrant strains of nadaswaram music created an atmosphere of festivity and joy, filling the hall with an overwhelming sense of divine bliss. The celebration reached its crescendo as soul-stirring Sai bhajans interspersed the melodic wedding hymns, uplifting the vibrations while devotees joined in with unbridled enthusiasm. As sacred flowers and rice showered upon the newlywed divine couple, the glorious and festive evening came to an energizing close, leaving all in a state of divine ecstasy.
