Japan Officially Joins Sri Sathya Sai Global Council | Prayers of Sri Sathya Sai Japan Day at the Divine Sanctum | April 4, 2025

The sacred Bhajan Hall resonated with divine vibrations as the closing prayers of Sri Sathya Sai Japan Day were offered inside the sanctum sanctorum. The event witnessed the participation of Sri K Chakravarthi IAS (Retd), Chairman, Sri Sathya Sai Global Council with the esteemed Japanese devotees and office bearers, including Sri Hira Ryuko, Mr Sumitomo Masaki, Mr Dayal Samnani, Mr Gokubo, Mr Arishima, Mr Aota, Mr Norimoto, Mr Usunigu, Mr Nakashima, and over 121 devotees from Japan.

In a deeply inspiring address, Sri R J Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, reflected on Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s divine grace upon Japan. He emphasised that Prasanthi Nilayam is not just the sacred abode of Bhagawan but a spiritual sanctuary for all of humanity, nurturing seekers from across the world. He expounded on the universal teachings of Bhagawan, reminding devotees of the profound significance of His advent, His divine life, and the eternal presence enshrined in Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi.

Highlighting the importance of unity and cooperation, Sri Rathnakar underscored the role of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSGC), which represents 140 countries worldwide, fostering oneness and service in the Sai mission. In a significant step towards strengthening the divine collaboration, Mr Dayal Samnani was appointed as the National Council Coordinator for Japan within the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, reaffirming Japan’s unwavering commitment to Bhagawan’s mission and all initiatives under the SSSGC’s guidance. The convenor of Sri Sathya Sai Organisation, Japan, Mr Sumitomo Masaki, will hold the office up to the Centenary celebrations. The entire team will work in unity to spread the Sai mission in Japan and will participate in the glorious Centenary celebrations of our beloved Bhagawan. With hearts filled with gratitude and renewed dedication, the devotees of Japan offered their prayers at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet, seeking His continued blessings to serve as instruments of His love and message in their land.
