Nestled amidst the serene blue hills of the Nilgiris, Ooty is known for its pristine landscapes, mist-laden valleys and the simple, heartfelt lives of its people. The devotees from this blessed region share a deep and intimate bond with Bhagawan, who visited the Nilgiris many times, sanctifying the hills with His divine presence and love.
As part of Bhagawan’s Centenary Celebrations, devotees from the Nilgiris district undertook a pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam, bringing with them offerings of gratitude and devotion. Mr HK Sundar Raj (District President) expressed heartfelt gratitude and shared glimpses of the district’s dedicated activities. These include Grama Seva in rural and tribal villages, Nitya Narayana Seva, which has served food to thousands, and Ratha Yatra, which carried Bhagawan’s message of love and service across numerous villages and towns.
Inspired by the teachings of Ramakatha Rasavahini, the dance drama beautifully illustrated that Lord Rama is the embodiment of Dharma and that His life stands as a guiding light for righteous living. Through expressive dance and narration, the children portrayed three moving episodes from the Ramayana: Ahalya’s redemption through Rama’s grace, Jatayu’s valiant sacrifice in service of righteousness, and Sabari’s pure and innocent devotion expressed through her loving offering of forest berries. Each episode highlighted that sincere love and unwavering devotion alone draw the Lord’s compassion.
The presentation concluded with the uplifting message that love is the true remedy for all the world’s sorrows, leaving the audience immersed in devotion and gratitude for the boundless grace of the Lord.
