Built by God.
Served by Man.
Sustained by Love.
A world-class hospital, offering free, compassionate healthcare to all—without distinction.
Continuing the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield, the evening proceedings unfolded as a deeply moving Krutajnata Kusumanjali—a sacred Garland of Gratitude offered at the Divine Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Woven from seven symbolic flowers, the offering represented the many hands and hearts that have selflessly nurtured the hospital’s divine mission over the past 25 years.
The program brought together patients and their families, current staff, students, former staff, alumni, Sevadals, and well-wishers—each a flower of unique fragrance—collectively adorning the hospital’s inspiring journey of selfless service. Through heartfelt expressions, reflections, and offerings of gratitude, the evening beautifully reaffirmed the Institute’s living ideal of unity in diversity. Together, these seven flowers formed a radiant Garland of Gratitude, celebrating a quarter century of free, world-class healthcare, powered by love, compassion, faith, and divinity.
Earlier in the evening, Dr Sundaresh DC, Director, SSSIHMS–Whitefield, presented the Annual Report, sharing that the hospital treated over 2.3 lakh outpatients, admitted more than 9,300 inpatients, and performed 8,421 surgeries and procedures, including complex cardiac and neurosurgical cases. Managing an average of 800–900 outpatients daily, the hospital continues to uphold exceptional standards of care, maintaining an infection rate below 1%. Clinical services recorded 11.44 lakh laboratory investigations, over 50,000 advanced radiology investigations, and a growing physiotherapy department now expanded into neuro and cardiac rehabilitation.
