Month-Long Medical Camp Begins in Prasanthi Nilayam for the Centenary Celebrations | Nov 1, 2025

Every year, as part of the sacred observances during Guru Poornima and Bhagawan’s Birthday, medical camps are lovingly organised in Prasanthi Nilayam, offering free healthcare to thousands of devotees and visitors. Traditionally lasting a week, these camps embody Bhagawan’s message of “Love All, Serve All.”

This year, however, is extraordinarily special. As the world joins together to celebrate the Centenary of the Divine Advent — a century of selfless love, a century of seva, a century of the Lord walking amidst us — the spirit of service has scaled new heights. For the first time ever, the customary medical camp during the Birthday season will extend for an entire month! Yes, you heard it right — thirty days of continuous medical seva, from November 1 to November 30, 2025.

Inaugurated this morning by Mr RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee – SSSCT) in the presence of functionaries and doctors, the main camp, located at North 1 Building, serves as the central base and will be supported by three additional satellite camps and four mobile clinics, all of which will function round the clock (24×7).

A total of 67 doctors from Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, 145 doctors from the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, 70 paramedics staff and 70 allied health care professionals, representing a wide range of specialties — including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Dental, ENT, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, and Podiatry — have joyously offered their services. Accompanying them are volunteers and sevadals, ensuring seamless care and compassion in every interaction.

Medicines are being dispensed free of cost to patients for their respective ailments. Additionally, doctors from the camp will also assist in Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, Prasanthi Nilayam, and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram, during the camp period.

This month-long medical seva stands as a glorious testimony to Bhagawan’s timeless message of compassionate service. As thousands flock to Prasanthi Nilayam to offer their love and gratitude during this momentous Centenary, these selfless hands of healing will continue to serve tirelessly, reminding all that service to man is indeed service to God.
