Parthi Yatra by the devotees from Odisha | Day 1 – Evening | Aug 23, 2025

Sai Kulwant Hall witnessed a soul-stirring offering by the youth of Balangir and Rayagada districts in the form of a drama titled “Rathotsavam” this evening.
Through this presentation, they beautifully depicted how the Lord, out of His infinite compassion, descends amidst mankind, granting His divine darshan and showering blessings by moving among His devotees—a sacred practice witnessed since the times of the Rama and Krishna Avatars.

Drawing parallels between the Jagannath Rath Yatra and the Sri Sathya Sai Ratha Yatra undertaken by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Odisha, the youth portrayed how, for three years, the Ratha Yatra traversed the length and breadth of the state, touching even the most remote villages. They recalled Bhagawan’s divine assurance given in the 1960s that He would one day visit Odisha—an assurance fulfilled through this sacred yatra. Heart-touching incidents narrated how innocent villagers had the rare blessing of experiencing Swami in physical form, reminding everyone that He is verily still living amidst us, guiding, guarding, and gracing each step of our journey. These episodes powerfully reaffirmed the eternal truth that Bhagawan’s Nama and Rupa are one and the same.

Earlier in the evening, the State President of Odisha, Mr Sathya Swaroop Patnaik, addressed the gathering, sharing the devotees’ collective commitment to Bhagawan’s mission through the three C’s: Connection with Swami by immersing in seva and sadhana, Commitment to live His message and work, and Communication by spreading His love and teachings—thus joyfully preparing for the grand Centenary Celebrations.
