Parthi Yatra by the devotees from Odisha | Day 1 – Morning | Aug 23, 2025

Prasanthi Nilayam, the hallowed Janmabhoomi and Karmabhoomi of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, was bathed in a vibrant sea of yellow this weekend as around 2,500 devotees from Odisha converged at the Divine Abode for a two-day Parthi Yatra. With hearts brimming with gratitude and devotion, the Odisha Sai family has once again reaffirmed their unbroken bond with their beloved Lord.

The morning proceedings began with a moving address by Mr Tusharkant Nath, State Youth Coordinator of SSSSO–Odisha, who fondly reminisced about their first Parthi Yatra in 2007. He recalled how the devotees had prayed for Bhagawan’s blessings to come as a united family, and how Swami, out of His infinite love, graciously permitted them to undertake their pilgrimage in large groups. Since then, with steadfast faith and devotion, the Odisha devotees have been coming to Prasanthi Nilayam every year without fail, drawing strength, inspiration, and spiritual sustenance from the Divine Presence.

As an offering of love and reverence, the devotees presented a soulful bouquet of chants and hymns under the theme Sai Vandanam. The session began with the resonant chanting of the Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottaram, followed by the melodious Krishnashtakam, the devotional Sadguru Sai Stotram, and the Sathya Sai Navaratnamala. The blissful morning concluded with a mellifluous Odia rendition, ‘Ki Sundara Aha,’ filling the hallowed precincts with divine vibrations.

With devotion as their guiding light and gratitude as their offering, the Odisha Sai devotees continue to tread the path shown by Bhagawan—cherishing His message, spreading His love, and reinforcing the essence of unity, purity, and divinity.
