Barely ten days have passed since the grand Centenary Celebrations of our beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, yet the memories of those celestial days still linger vividly in the hearts of devotees across the world. In the Lord’s janmabhoomi and karmabhoomi, the stream of devotion continues to flow unceasingly, with devotees still flocking to Prasanthi Nilayam to bask in His eternal presence and grace.
This week, the overseas devotees from Singapore (Zone 5 of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council) have arrived to offer their collective heartfelt gratitude to Swami. A series of cultural presentations has been planned for three evenings, and today, the SSE children of Singapore offered a wonderful and deeply meaningful drama titled ‘Circle of Love’.
The thoughtful and impactful presentation beautifully conveyed the journey from loving within one’s limited circle to expanding that love universally, embracing everyone as one’s very own. Through timeless episodes drawn from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the children portrayed the four types of love that Bhagawan urges us to cultivate in our daily lives: Maitreem (friendliness), Karuna (compassion), Mudita (selfless love), and Upeksha (forgiveness). Interwoven with graceful dances and melodious songs, the drama culminated in a moving pledge—“to love all, serve all, see Swami in all, and be His light.”
Earlier in the evening, Mr Vijay Rai, Advocate of the Supreme Court of Singapore, delivered a heartfelt talk. Reflecting on the profound Sai movement in Singapore, he expressed deep gratitude to the pioneers who laid a strong foundation rooted in Bhagawan’s teachings. Recalling cherished personal interactions with Swami, he shared three transformative lessons gifted by the Lord: adopting a vegetarian lifestyle, participating wholeheartedly in the bhajan movement, and practising his profession of law as a form of selfless service.
