The concluding evening of the 3-day Prasanthi Pilgrimage by the devotees from Singapore resonated with devotion and gratitude as they presented a soulful musical offering titled ‘Sri Sathya Sai Swararchana’, along with a heartfelt address by Ms Kandha Ruby Appudurai.
The evening commenced with the lady devotees chanting Vedam. This was followed by an inspiring talk by Ms Ruby (President of the Bartley Sai Centre, Singapore). She lovingly recalled how Baba drew her family to His fold in the 1970s and shared glimpses of His constant reassurances through the various phases of her life. Narrating her visit to Prasanthi Nilayam during Bhagawan’s 65th Birthday celebrations, she remembered how, amidst the soaring heat, a gentle cool breeze enveloped her—an unforgettable moment reaffirming His Omnipresence. Expressing deep gratitude, Ms Ruby reminded everyone that the highest purpose of life lies in following His teachings with sincerity.
What followed was a serene and elevating musical presentation. The program began with a melodious rendition of Ādi Śaṅkara’s ‘Bhujanga Stotram’, gently transitioning into ‘Namo Sathya Sai Baba’. Taking the audience into the blissful ambience of Brindavan, they offered the Krishna bhajan ‘Aja Sakhi Shyam Sundar’, followed by the heartfelt qawwali ‘Tere Darpe Aye Hain’, a prayerful expression of longing to be at His Lotus Feet. The musical concluded with a vibrant rendering of ‘Vitthala Vitthala’, suffusing the Sai Kulwant Hall with devotional fervour, followed by a stirring offering of ‘Dhanyavad’—the voice of gratitude from every devotee present.
With humility and fullness of heart, the devotees from Singapore brought their pilgrimage to a close. As they return, they carry with them the peace, vibrations, blessings, and Divine Love of Prasanthi Nilayam during this sacred Centenary Year of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba—treasures to cherish and share back home.
