On the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre, the staff and volunteers of this unit of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust offered at Bhagawan’s lotus feet a musical presentation titled ‘Prasanthi Vahini’.
The session began with a welcome address by Mr Sundar Swaminathan, Director of the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre. In his inspiring talk, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to Bhagawan for His divine guidance over the years and prayed for His continued blessings.
This was followed by a video presentation showcasing glimpses of some of the major productions of the Media Centre over the past 12 months.
The musical offering then commenced. Through soulful songs, rich instrumental interludes, and meaningful narrations, the SSSMC team paid homage to Prasanthi Nilayam — the Abode of Supreme Peace, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. (Bhagawan inaugurated Prasanthi Nilayam on November 23, 1950)
The program beautifully portrayed how Prasanthi Nilayam is both the Janmabhoomi and Karmabhoomi of the Sri Sathya Sai Avatar. The evening culminated in a vibrant bhajan medley, followed by Mangala Arati, bringing the celebrations to a blissful close.
