The third evening of the Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha, held during the auspicious Devi Navaratri, opened with the sacred and vibrant Vedic chants rendered by the students of the Anantapur Campus, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, suffusing the Sai Kulwant Hall with divine energy.
Following this, Prof PL Rani (Dean, Faculty of Languages & Literature and Humanities & Social Sciences, SSSIHL) delivered an introspective and stirring talk, beautifully underlining that Swami’s Presence and Omnipresence are one and the same. She recalled the immense benevolence and guiding hand of Bhagawan in her own life, both before and after 2011, and urged all gathered to recognise that although His physical form may not be perceived as before, it is the sacred responsibility of every devotee to feel and affirm His Omnipresence.
Through sharing of experiences, she reminded us that we can perceive the invisible hand of the Divine in every circumstance, never forgetting that nothing ever happens without His Will. Narrating inspiring episodes of students cultivating deep and unshakable faith, she gently posed a question to all present: What does it truly mean to be part of Swami’s history as we celebrate the Centenary Year of His Advent? Concluding with a heartfelt prayer, she invoked constant awareness of His Omnipresence, Omnipotence, and Omniscience, a sentiment silently resonating in every heart in the hall.
The evening then blossomed into a devotional offering by the students of the Anantapur Campus titled ‘Shatanamarchana’, a thematic garland of songs glorifying the hundred sacred Names of the Lord. The soulful musical presentation began with vibrant devotional singing that set a tone of joy and reverence. Gentle, melodic pieces followed, invoking serenity and deep reflection. Instrumental and vocal harmonies added variety and charm, uplifting every heart. The offering concluded with lively folk rhythms, leaving the hall resonating with devotion and festive fervour.
