‘Premamrita: The Nectar of Love Expressed through Sound’

A Musical Symphony by the students of SSSIHL Men’s Campuses: Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan & Nandigiri | Jan 14, 2026

On the sacred eve of Makara Sankranti, Sai Kulwant Hall resonated with devotion, discipline, and divine love as 123 student musicians from the three men’s campuses of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning—Prasanthi Nilayam, Brindavan, and Nandigiri—came together to offer a heartfelt musical symphony titled Premamrita.

An ensemble of twelve thoughtfully curated musical offerings, spanning Carnatic, Hindustani, fusion, band, and a cappella renditions, unfolded as a seamless journey through love, nostalgia, and unwavering devotion. The program commenced with a vibrant Ganesha Vandana, instantly elevating the spiritual ambience and invoking divine grace upon the offering.

The institute band then presented two mellifluous pieces—one classical and another in waltz style—showcasing musical finesse and disciplined coordination. This was followed by the soulful Qawwali “Mere Aqa”, which deeply stirred the hearts of the listeners, and a creatively woven fusion rendition of “Telisi Rama Chintana”, echoing through the hall with devotional fervour. Adding a gentle emotional touch was the evocative song “Dil Chahta Ye Din Bar Bar”, beautifully expressing the students’ yearning to relive these precious moments in Bhagawan’s presence.

A defining highlight of the evening was the a cappella rendition of the Vitthala bhajan “Ye Ga Vitthalabai”. With impeccable synchrony, harmony, and collective precision, the students rendered this piece with captivating simplicity and depth, earning heartfelt appreciation from all present. The symphony culminated on a triumphant note with the Sports Meet theme “Kaliyuga Avataram”, bringing the musical offering to a fitting and inspiring close.
