Saptha Veena – Instrumental Musical Offering by Ms Suseela and Team | Vishu Celebrations | April 15, 2026

The auspicious Vishu evening commenced with an inspiring address by Dr G Shankar, Padma Shri awardee and renowned exponent of green architecture. In his thoughtful sharing, he beautifully connected the essence of Vishu with Bhagawan’s eternal teachings, emphasising that true celebration lies in cultivating devotion, gratitude, and righteous living. Reflecting on the significance of the Vishu ritual, he highlighted that it is an expression of heartfelt gratitude to the Divine, the very source of all abundance, and a reminder to seek His Presence at the beginning of every endeavour.

This was followed by a unique and captivating instrumental offering led by Ms Suseela and her team from Ernakulam, Kerala. Presenting a rare ensemble of seven Veenas in perfect harmony, supported by tabla, mridangam, keyboard, and harmonium, the artists created a deeply elevating musical experience.

What followed was a delightful cascade of beautiful compositions, including Mahaganapatim, Mahishasura Mardini, Chethi Mandaram, and Harivarasanam, each piece resonating with melody, rhythm, and devotion.
