A child’s offering.
A parent’s silent embrace.
And a love that remains eternal.
In the sanctified presence of Prasanthi Nilayam, where every heartbeat echoes with His love, the students of Classes X and XII (Girls) of Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School offered an evening soaked in gratitude, devotion, and surrender. Titled ‘Sarvasva Samarpan’, this heartfelt musical offering of the children who live away from their physical houses yet have grown securely in the home of their Divine Parent. For these young girls, Prasanthi has been home, Swami their Mother and Father, Guide and Guardian.
With eyes fixed lovingly on the Sannidhi and smiles born of inner contentment, the girls sang with simplicity and sincerity that touched every heart. Their thoughtfully curated bouquet of nine songs—spanning languages, styles, and emotions—flowed effortlessly from the invocatory ‘Jai Ganapati Vandana’ to the soul-stirring ‘Madhura Mohana’, and through melodies such as ‘Jeena Jeena’, ‘Anandamritakarshini’, and ‘Sau Baras Ka’. The offering culminated in the timeless yearning of a child for her Lord – ‘Humko Tumse Pyar Kitna’, leaving the atmosphere thick with devotion and gratitude.
Interwoven with the music were deeply moving testimonials—simple yet profound reflections of Swami’s guiding presence in their lives. Many spoke of growing up in Sai devotee families, yet discovering their own living faith through personal experiences, silent miracles, and moments of divine reassurance. With clarity and conviction, they spoke not from borrowed belief, but from lived truth.
One of the most touching moments of the evening was the offering of meticulously handcrafted gratitude cards to their beloved Mother Sai. Each card stood as a labour of love—intricate in design, rich in symbolism, carefully layered with colours, textures, drawings, calligraphy, and thoughtful detailing. These were not mere cards, but silent prayers shaped by patient hands and loving hearts.
Sharing their feelings in their mother tongues, the girls spoke as daughters to their Mother—unfiltered, tender, and real. As they prepare to step beyond the portals of the school that moulded their character, they placed at His Feet not just songs and cards, but their gratitude for a life shaped by values, discipline, love, and grace.
