As the auspicious festival of Ugadi heralds the dawn of a new year, marking new beginnings and renewed aspirations, the Sai Youth of Andhra Pradesh have chosen the sacred path to commence their journey—a pilgrimage to the divine abode of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Over 2,000 enthusiastic and devoted youth have gathered in Prasanthi Nilayam for a two-day Parthi Yatra, pledging themselves once again to Swami’s noble mission of selfless service to humanity.
In a breathtaking display of devotion and unity, the youth marched in a grand procession this morning, carrying the sanctified Pādukās in their hands as a symbolic offering of surrender and gratitude at Bhagawan’s Sannidhi. It was an awe-inspiring sight—a sea of young hearts, determined and steadfast, coming together to seek Swami’s blessings and immerse themselves in activities of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations (SSSSO). Representatives from various districts proudly held placards, signifying their unwavering commitment to Swami’s path, and reverentially bowed to Him, thanking the Lord for this divine opportunity.
During the proceedings, Smt Sai Kumari (State Youth Mahilas Coordinator) eloquently spoke about the various service initiatives undertaken by Sai Youth across different districts of Andhra Pradesh. These initiatives have not only uplifted communities but have also transformed the youth themselves, instilling in them a deeper understanding of life, purpose, and the true essence of Sai’s teachings—Love All, Serve All.
The participants then engaged themselves in a spiritually elevating Tandularchana ritual chanting the Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottara Shatanamavali, offering sacred rice grains to Swami’s photograph with utmost reverence.
This Parthi Yatra has not only strengthened the resolve of the Andhra Pradesh Sai Youth but has also become a beacon of inspiration for all, reminding us that the best way to celebrate a new beginning is to dedicate ourselves to a higher purpose. May Swami’s grace continue to guide and bless us all as we take His divine mission forward with love, humility, and unwavering faith.
