All Roads Lead to Puttaparthi!
Only three weeks remain. How swiftly time glides! In the blink of an eye, the most sacred, awaited, and epochal day in human history — the 100th Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba — shall dawn. The divine moment for which millions have yearned across lifetimes is now almost here.
As this once-in-a-millennium celebration draws near, Puttaparthi — the blessed hamlet sanctified by His divine presence, is awakening to a spectacle of devotion, grandeur, and love. Truly, as the saying goes, “All roads once led to Rome,” but today, all roads, rails, and hearts lead to Puttaparthi — where heaven and earth unite in celebration of the Advent of the Avatar of Love.
The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, in association with the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, is orchestrating preparations on a monumental scale — a symphony of service, discipline, and divine fervour. Every detail, every structure, every arrangement breathes one purpose: to welcome the world to the Divine Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
From the Puttaparthi Railway Station to the Karnataka Nagepalli Road, 54 majestic arches are being raised — gateways of devotion that will stand as beacons of love, greeting the multitudes arriving to bask in His presence. Some arches already gleam proudly beneath the sun, while others are swiftly taking shape — each one a silent proclamation that the hour of glory is near.
To house the ocean of humanity that will surge into Puttaparthi, the Trust is creating sprawling, well-planned accommodation hubs — luminous, airy, and vast. These divine shelters, equipped with towering fans, radiant LED lighting, and heavy-duty fabric cover, together span over five lakh square feet, offering space for more than 30,000 devotees to rest, recharge, and revel in the bliss of Prasanthi.
These temporary accommodation zones are strategically located at six sites:
- Adjacent to the Convention Centre inside the Ashram
- Electricity Board Grounds
- Bus Depot area
- Chaitanya Jyoti precincts
- West Gate – 1
- West Gate – 2
Each hangar is a microcosm of thoughtful planning — with charging stations, toilet complexes, hot water facilities powered by gas burners, and community kitchens that will lovingly prepare sumptuous prasadam for tens of thousands of devotees.
The scale of these efforts is humbling — hundreds of men and women, volunteers and professionals alike, working day and night, moved by a single heartbeat of devotion. From roads and lighting to accommodations and logistics, every aspect of the preparations reflects the spirit of unity, discipline, and dedication that Swami Himself has instilled over the decades.
As the countdown draws closer to the 23rd of November 2025, Puttaparthi stands resplendent — decked in devotion, throbbing with anticipation, and ready to embrace the world. The air is thick with expectation, the land sacred with purpose, and every heart resonates with one resounding prayer: “Welcome, Beloved Swami — the world awaits Your 100th Birthday.”
