The Eternal Symphony of Selfless Love – 100 Years of Sri Sathya Sai | Berlin Philharmonie Hall | Nov 28, 2025

A Global Symphony Celebrating the Love and Legacy of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Just a few days after the celestial evening of Bhagawan’s grand centenary birthday, the iconic Berlin Philharmonie Hall became the sacred stage for a historic musical offering curated in honour of the Centenary of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. After its revered premiere in Puttaparthi, the concert made its international debut at one of the world’s most prestigious cultural venues, marking a significant moment in the global celebration of Sai Baba’s universal message.

In the majestic setting of the Berlin Philharmonie, the evening proceedings commenced with an inspiring message from the Guest of Honour and visionary force behind the concert, Mr RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust. His profound words reverberated through the hall, elevating the atmosphere into one of deep reverence and inner stillness. The touching simplicity in his words touched the hearts of all present, gently stirring even those who were encountering the life and message of Sathya Sai Baba for the first time.

With an audience of over 1,500 attendees, comprising mainly European patrons, artists, diplomats, musicians, and spiritual seekers, the concert was met with overwhelming appreciation. The hall was immersed in an atmosphere of reverence, harmony, and love. As an ode to Baba’s timeless teachings, the concert was creatively crafted using the compositions most loved, sung, and inspired by Baba Himself. The message of Sathya Sai was innovatively reimagined in a grand orchestral framework, creating a rare and powerful confluence of Eastern spirituality and Western symphonic brilliance.

The world-renowned Prague FILMharmonic Orchestra was specially commissioned for this production, and the concert was conducted by eminent German maestro Prof Dr Michael Kohler and orchestration and arrangements by celebrated composer Robin Hoffmann. The music production and music direction was led by Mr Sai Shravanam, who curated and guided the masterful integration of the Indian compositions with Western Orchestration. The concert featured legendary Indian classical stalwarts Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, Vidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty, and celebrated flautist Flute Navin, alongside members of the Prasanthi Bhajan Group – singers Mr S Ravikumar and Mr Anirudh Srinivasan, who played a pivotal role in the concert. Together, they presented a spiritually charged repertoire that included iconic compositions such as Why Fear When I Am Here, Manasa Bhajare, Love Is My Form, Brahmamokkate and Madhura Mohana, along with other beloved pieces that resonate deeply within the Sathya Sai fraternity.

The evening reached its crescendo with a Centenary Happy Birthday composition, sung collectively by the audience, transforming the hall into a single, resonant voice of devotion. It stirred deep emotion, touching not only the devotees who knew Swami, but also those who, through the music, felt the quiet power of the love and truth at the heart of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s message.

“The Eternal Symphony of Selfless Love” stood as more than a concert; it was a global spiritual offering, a musical prayer, and a living embodiment of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s eternal proclamation: “Love All, Serve All; Help Ever, Hurt Never.”

Through this monumental production, His message once again echoed across the world, reminding humanity of the power of love, unity, and selfless service.
