The inaugural day of the 11th Sri Sathya Sai World Conference, held on 20 November 2025 at Prasanthi Nilayam as part of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Centenary Celebrations, witnessed the presence of the Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Mr Nitin Gadkari, as the Chief Guest. Acknowledged as a visionary, the Minister delivered an inspiring address highlighting human imperfection, the importance of an “Engineer Life” approach, and the primacy of values—captured in his striking observation, “You can donate an eye, but not vision.” He stressed sustainable development rooted in the synergy of ethics, economy, ecology, and environment, while also speaking on water conservation, human happiness indices, medical innovation, and the conversion of knowledge—and even waste—into wealth. His reflections on future agriculture, tribal advancement, economic transformation, and emerging technologies were grounded in social responsibility, echoing the principle that when the mind and conscience conflict, conscience must prevail.
The session also featured powerful messages from Mr SS Naganand, Member, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, who articulated how the Sai mission continues to touch lives across continents and emphasised that the centenary is a call for deeper sadhana, unity, and unwavering dedication to Swami’s ideals.
Mr Nimish Pandya, All India President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, offered an inspiring overview of the global preparations for the centenary, highlighting the year-long seva initiatives rooted in the S.A.I. principle—Service, Adoration, Illumination. He emphasized that the true measure of this celebration lies not in scale, but in the transformation of the heart.
The conference, themed “Pathways to World Peace,” brought together over 2,000 delegates from 125 countries, with participation—both online and in person, marking a historic gathering of the Sai family. The event reaffirmed Bhagawan’s universal message of Sathya, Dharma, Shanti, Prema, and Ahimsa, encouraging delegates to pursue spiritual progress as the foundation of world harmony. Two key publications—“Eternal Presence” and “Pathways to World Peace”—were released, along with the theme song “Sai Kupa Anugrahham” composed by young adults. Structured around three dimensions—Eternal Living, Living the Universal, and Dissolving the Individual—the conference invited every participant to recognise the eternal presence of the Divine and commit to inner transformation.
