Vishu Celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam | Devotional Musical Offering by the Sai Youth from Kerala | April 15, 2026

Marking the sacred occasion of Vishu, the traditional New Year of Kerala, the hallowed precincts of Prasanthi Nilayam resonated with devotion and gratitude as youth members from Kerala gathered for a heartfelt three-day pilgrimage at the Divine Lotus Feet.

Ms Aswathy Suresh (DYC – Ladies) beautifully explained that Vishu signifies an inner upward surge of love and selflessness. She emphasised that one must become a humble Kinkara (servant) to realise the Divine Shankara, highlighting Seva as the true spiritual journey. She urged the audience to offer their ‘Kaineettam’ – extend their helping hand to society in the form of love and to become humble instruments in spreading the Divine message.

A mellifluous musical offering titled ‘Hridayaharam’ followed, seamlessly blending music, reflection, and spiritual introspection. Traditional Harinama Keertanam and devotional songs in praise of Lord Guruvayurappa were presented, with the youth reverentially equating Puttaparthi to the Guruvayur of this age. Inspiring testimonies shared by the youth spoke of divine intervention and inner awakening.

In a deeply symbolic expression of devotion, they described Bhagawan as their “Vishu Kani”, the most auspicious first sight, praying that His divine form be the eternal vision that greets them each day.

Bhagawan’s message in His divine discourse emphasised the need to purify the five senses and cultivate “right vision” to recognise the inherent divinity within
