Amidst an atmosphere charged with devotion and a deep yearning for inner transformation, the sacred precincts of Prasanthi Nilayam bore witness to the inspiring ceremony of the Sri Sathya Sai Vahini Sudhamrutha Program. Rooted in the timeless teachings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, this unique initiative brings together earnest seekers on a shared journey of studying, reflecting, and living the eternal truths enshrined in the Vahinis.
Centred on the fifteen sacred Vahinis authored by Bhagawan, these texts, often revered as the distilled essence of the Vedas, Upanishads, Shastras, and Puranas, offer profound spiritual wisdom in a format accessible to the modern mind. Over the past three years, the program has witnessed remarkable growth, reaching thousands of aspirants across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Conducted in twelve languages, it reflects the universal appeal of Bhagawan’s message. With a thoughtfully designed curriculum of 106 lesson modules, each session combines in-depth study with interactive engagement, fostering clarity and encouraging the application of spiritual principles in daily life.
The proceedings commenced with a grand and dignified procession, as participants walked with a sense of pride and deep gratitude for the opportunity to immerse themselves in Bhagawan’s teachings. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp marked an auspicious beginning, led by K Chakravarthi (Chairman, SSSGC), RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSSCT) and Nimish Pandya (AIP, SSSSO), setting the tone for the sacred proceedings.
A deeply touching segment of the program featured heartfelt reflections by four participants, who shared their transformative journeys in their respective native languages. Their testimonies vividly illustrated how the study of the Vahinis has shaped their thoughts, strengthened their faith, and guided them in navigating life with greater clarity, love, and resilience.
The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of Group 3 participants, who were awarded certificates upon successfully completing the course.
