The sacred occasion of the Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam was adorned with an extraordinary outpouring of love and selfless service through the traditional Maha Narayana Seva, offered in the form of Annadanam and Vastradanam at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium this morning.
Following ceremonial prayers offered at the Divine Lotus Feet, the seva commenced in an atmosphere suffused with reverence and devotion. Revered Trustees of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, along with senior elders, led this noble initiative. Ms Palle Sindhura Reddy (MLA, Puttaparthi Assembly Constituency) and Mr Palle Raghunatha Reddy (Former MLA) also participated, reflecting a spirit of collective dedication to Bhagawan’s mission of selfless service.
This year’s Narayana Seva witnessed an overwhelming and heartening response, with more than 45,000 devotees gathering to receive Bhagawan’s blessings in the form of food and clothing. Vastradanam, comprising sarees and dhotis, along with sanctified prasadam in the form of pulihora and laddoos, was lovingly offered to every individual, transforming each act of giving into a sacred expression of divine grace.
Despite the intense summer heat, meticulous and compassionate arrangements ensured the comfort and well-being of all, especially beneficiaries from neighbouring villages. Sevadal members of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations worked with tireless dedication, erecting spacious pandals and providing water and buttermilk, upholding the dignity and care that Bhagawan so cherished.
On this auspicious occasion, the offering of Maha Anna Prasadam was also carried out with utmost sanctity within the ashram behind the N7 building. A wholesome and sumptuous meal was prepared with great devotion, adhering to the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and spiritual purity. Volunteers, embodying humility and joy, carried out every aspect of the seva, from preparation to distribution and subsequent cleaning, with seamless coordination and prayerful hearts, elevating the entire effort into a profound spiritual sadhana.
More than the magnitude, it was the spirit underlying the Narayana Seva that made the occasion truly elevating, where service became worship, and every act stood as a living testament to Bhagawan’s eternal message of love, compassion, and unity of all mankind.
