The sacred Sai Kulwant Hall resonated with devotion and gratitude this morning as the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre (SSSMC) celebrated its 25th Anniversary — its Silver Jubilee, marking 25 blessed years of service at the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Founded by Bhagawan in 2001, the Media Centre has grown into a global media platform connecting devotees across the world with Prasanthi Nilayam, carrying His Divine Discourses, life and message through radio, television and digital media.
The morning began with reflections by two long-serving volunteers, Mr Shashidhar Shankara and Ms Nirmala Dinesh. Mr Shashidhar shared the blessing of completing his professional career with one badge and then receiving the greater privilege of serving Bhagawan wearing His badge. Ms Nirmala recalled Bhagawan’s loving protection and guidance throughout her life. Their experiences beautifully reflected the unseen grace that sustains every act of service.
This was followed by an invocatory Bharatanatyam presentation by the children of Sri Sathya Sai Kids World. The young dancers portrayed the devotion of Mother Sabari, the Gopikas and the Divine advent of Bhagawan as the Saviour and Uplifter of humanity.
The highlight of the morning was ‘Pancha Amrutam’, a devotional musical offering by SSSMC volunteers, celebrating five precious gifts of Bhagawan’s Divine Advent — Nama, Rupa, Sandesha, Charitra and Kshetra. Nama, the Divine Name that gives strength and solace; Rupa, His enchanting Divine Form; Sandesha, His eternal message of Truth and Love; Charitra, the sacred story of His life and teachings; and Kshetra, the sacred abode of Prasanthi Nilayam, where His Love and message continue to inspire millions. Rendered in different Indian languages and blending classical and folk traditions with meaningful narration, the presentation became a melodious expression of gratitude to Bhagawan. The many languages converged as one voice of love at His Lotus Feet.
A Quarter Century at His Lotus Feet
For 25 years, microphones have carried His voice.
Cameras have captured His presence.
Words have carried His message.
Music has carried His Name.
And countless volunteers have offered their time, talent and lives in His service.
Yet, behind every broadcast, every recording, every transmission and every digital offering stands the same simple aspiration: “May His message reach one more heart.”
