Concluding Session | Mahashivaratri Akhanda Bhajan – Maha Prasadam Distribution – Feb 27, 2025

As the grand vigil of Shivaratri Akhanda Bhajan reached its peak, Sai Kulwant Hall remained drenched in the celestial vibrations of sacred melodies. Throughout the night, groups of devotees took turns, ensuring an unbroken stream of devotion, their voices merging in harmonious surrender. And just when it seemed the soul could ask for nothing more, Bhagawan Himself elevated the atmosphere to an ethereal height with the stirring notes of the timeless bhajan, Shivalinga Mangalanga.

Even before the first rays of dawn kissed the sacred soil of Prasanthi Nilayam, the Ashram echoed with the deep, resonant chants of the Vedam group. Starting from the Ganesh temple, they circumambulated the Yajur Mandir, their voices rippling through the tranquil morning air before reaching the Mandir. This sacred practice, a daily offering of gratitude and prayer, took on a special sanctity this auspicious morning.

As the night gracefully yielded to the first light of day, the heavens adorned themselves in hues of gold and saffron, while birds joined in nature’s own symphony. The divine Suprabhatam by the women devotees heralded the dawn, welcoming yet another blessed day in the Lord’s Abode. The concluding hour of bhajans was nothing short of transcendental—a state of supreme bliss where exhaustion found no place. Though the night had passed in ceaseless singing, the energy and fervour remained untouched, a testimony to the boundless grace of the Divine.

With the final notes of Mangala Arati filling the sanctum, waves of devotion surged in every heart. As if sealing this night of divine communion with a touch of sweet fulfilment, sacred chakra pongal and pulihora were lovingly served to all. The soulful bhajans had nourished the spirit, and now, this sanctified prasadam nourished the body—both a blessing from the Divine, completing the sacred cycle of devotion, energy, and grace.

Thus, another Shivaratri at Prasanthi Nilayam came to a close—not as an end, but as a renewal of faith, a rekindling of devotion, and a reaffirmation that in the presence of the Divine, time ceases to exist, and only bhakti remains eternal.
