The powerful Laksharchana ritual took place today at the Sai Centre in Padua, Italy. The event was attended by 67 people, including devotees from Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna and Switzerland.
Federica Romanin Jacur, president of the Centre, gave a wonderful welcome. Baba’s energy and presence could be felt immediately upon entering this divine house, which vibrated with peace and loving energy. The programme began with the president’s welcome, followed by an explanation of the Laksharchana ritual. After the opening Gayatri Mantra, bajans were interspersed with the sacred repetition of the mantra Om Sri Sathya Sai Krishnaya Namah. The event lasted two and a half hours. After the mantras and bajans had finished, the sacred arathi was performed and everyone present received the blessings of the arathi fire. A delicious vegan meal was then served. We are all grateful to have benefited from the immense blessings of this powerful ritual bestowed upon Mr Gadhia and Mr Vagdama by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and we thank Federica and her husband Riccardo for their commitment to spreading this wonderful spiritual practice over the years.
