Region 3 of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSSGC), USA, accorded a heartfelt welcome to Mr RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam, during its Regional Retreat held in Greensboro, North Carolina, under the inspiring theme: ‘One Sai, One Family, One Resolve – Unity in Devotion, Strength in Service’.
The retreat brought together devotees from across the region in an atmosphere vibrant with devotion, unity, and selfless service. Rooted in Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s universal message of love, harmony, and brotherhood, the gathering fostered a deep sense of spiritual kinship and collective purpose among all participants.
Mr RJ Rathnakar joined the retreat with his characteristic humility and loving presence. He later visited Krishna’s Chariot, where devotees joyfully cherished memorable moments through the special “Selfie with Swami” experience.
Following introductory addresses by Dr Axay (Chair, Zone 1 – SSSGC), Dr Balu Karanam (National President, USA), Mr Rathnakar addressed an audience of over five hundred devotees. Speaking with humility, warmth, and deep devotion, he captivated hearts through touching anecdotes and inspiring experiences connected with Swami. Through these moving narratives, he beautifully conveyed Swami’s boundless love and timeless teachings, emphasising the importance of steadfast faith, selfless service, and love for humanity as pathways to remain ever connected with the Divine.
In a touching gesture of appreciation, Mr Rathnakar felicitated senior devotees and dedicated staff members serving in Bhagawan’s Organisations. He also honoured the office bearers in recognition of their committed and selfless service. Despite a demanding schedule, he actively participated in workshops, Bal Vikas congregations, interactions with senior devotees, and special sessions with organisational officers, inspiring all through his simplicity, dedication, and loving engagement.
Mr Rathnakar’s maiden visit to both the country and the region became a deeply cherished and unforgettable occasion, leaving devotees profoundly touched by the love and grace of Swami reflected through his presence.
