My soul feelings: my stay in Prashanti Nilayam during His Birthday Celebrations

My heart fills with joy when the taxi from Bangalore leaves for Puttaparthi, even though the road is bumpy
because of work in progress. They are offering devotees the best services on the occasion of His centenary. Seeing
large images of Baba along the road, is a sign of His presence welcoming me to His abode.
Even though I have never rented a room inside the ashram, my whole day is spent there.
His divine call even prompted me to take a trip alone.
Once inside the ashram, my intense communication with Baba begins. He listens to my love from His Samadhi and responding through His lila.
The ashram is full of life: the sevadal have been serving in various fields for years.
Thinking of treading the ground where my beloved Baba walked for almost a century of His earthly life
brings me into deep spiritual contact with Him. Skirting His house, leaning my hands and head
on His Samadhi is like embracing Him.
Everything in that blessed place speaks of Him, His life, His works,
His teachings which are still living on today through “the yes” of so many people around the world.

The time spent by singing Bajans is sacred to me; the chants offered to Swami fly out of the ashram creating a cloak of protection from the thoughts that haunt us when I return to everyday life at home.
I realised that during my journey with Baba I was living in a different way. I.e. the good food cooked
and blessed, the tranquillity of possibly having the support of Sai Hospital which is completely free of charge;
the supermarket stocked with everything: food, clothes, footwear, supplements, items for puja,
pictures of Baba etc. Swami’s Love envelops us through His works to advance us on the path of spirituality.
But if I had to make a sense of these few lines in my own language I would write only one word: Love.
