Opening of New Sai School Building at Ratlam – Madhya Pradesh | April 18, 2025

Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Ratlam, nestled in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, embarked on its sacred journey on 22nd April 2023. With humble beginnings — offering classes from Nursery to Grade IV and welcoming 294 young learners — the school has grown into a vibrant centre of learning and values. Now in its third academic year, the school proudly accommodates 675 students and offers education up to Grade IX.

This institution is the fifth school established by the Sri Sathya Sai State Trust, Madhya Pradesh, following the noble footsteps of the Sai schools in Indore, Bhopal, and Guna. The vision behind each of these institutions is deeply rooted in the teachings of Bhagawan, whose divine mission has always been to instil human values in education.

With the divine blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the school celebrates a significant milestone today – the official inauguration of its dedicated building, graced by the esteemed presence of Sri Jyotiraditya Ji Scindia, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, and Sri RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Rathnakar shared his heartfelt reflections, remarking what was once a small seed of education sown by Bhagawan has now grown into a vast and mighty tree, branching out across the Nation, giving rise to flourishing educational institutions that uphold Swami’s sacred ideals.

He hailed this as a divine affirmation of Swami’s omnipresence and silent guidance in every noble endeavour. Extending a warm invitation, Sri Rathnakar personally invited Sri Scindia to visit Prasanthi Nilayam, the spiritual abode of Bhagawan, to receive His divine blessings.

Sri Jyotiraditya Scindia, addressing the gathering with great energy and reverence, lauded Bhagawan’s remarkable legacy of social service and called the founding of educational institutions rooted in human values the greatest boon to this motherland.

He shared a deeply personal note, expressing how his own grandmother Smt Vijaya Raje Scindia and his father, Sri Madhav Rao Scindia, were blessed to be admirers of Bhagawan, and were fortunate to receive His divine benedictions. Among all of Swami’s divine teachings, the ones that touched his heart the most were the profound mahavakyas: “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never.”

Sri Scindia also praised the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for its unwavering dedication, commending how thousands of Swami’s followers continue to serve selflessly, carrying forward His divine mission with enthusiasm and deep spiritual zeal. Seeing the phenomenal progress at the Ratlam school, he confidently stated that students passing out of this institution will emerge as responsible citizens, contributing meaningfully to the nation’s future.

With a smile and a twinkle of admiration, he remarked that Sri Rathnakar doesn’t look 55 years old at all, but radiates youth and dynamism — a living testament to Swami’s divine glow and guiding light, proving that His presence is still strongly felt through those who walk His path.

In a short span of time, Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Ratlam, has made its presence felt on the national and global stage. Their students made them proud by securing 3rd place in the National Yoga Championship held in Surat, showcasing discipline, strength, and focus. Adding to the list of accolades, the school was part of a Guinness World Record at the Tansen Tabla Samaroh, where 1,500 performers played tabla together in perfect unison. Two of their own students were honoured to be a part of this historic musical celebration — a moment of joy and pride for the entire Sai fraternity.
