In a radiant display of devotion, the devotees from Srikakulam undertook their 22nd Parthi Yatra to the holy abode of Prasanthi Nilayam, rekindling a tradition steeped in love and divine guidance. Over two decades ago, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself blessed this group during a profound interaction in the Poornachandra Hall, planting the sacred seed of what would become a model of collective pilgrimage for other districts to emulate. Today, that seed has blossomed into ‘Parthi Yatra’.
The morning unfolded with a spiritually uplifting session as devotees gathered in prayerful unison, chanting the Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottaram with each chant accompanied by the offering of rice grains at Bhagawan.
As the summer sun mellowed into twilight, the devotees offered a musical bouquet titled ‘Sri Sathya Sai Swara Madhuri’ – comprising entirely new compositions and fresh melodies. The performance came as a soothing balm — a cool breeze of devotion in the warm summer air. Each note, each verse echoed their heartfelt love for Bhagawan, touching the hearts of all who were present.
Prior to the musical presentation, Sri Ramachandra Rao, District President, addressed the gathering, offering an insightful report on the wide range of seva activities undertaken by the Sai fraternity.
With every Parthi Yatra, the devotees of Srikakulam not only offer their gratitude but also return inspired to take Bhagawan’s love and message deeper into the heart of their communities
