For eternity, Prasanthi Nilayam has been a sacred meeting ground of hearts, as devotees from Malaysia, Zone 5 of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, immerse themselves in the divine atmosphere of Bhagawan’s Abode. Having come for a week on pilgrimage, the devotees have been soaking in the bliss participating in the daily activities of the Ashram and cherishing every moment spent in His Divine Presence.
The morning session saw the devotees engage in the sacred chanting of the Sri Sathya Sai Ashtottara Shata Namavali, offering rice grains to Bhagawan’s photo. The evening brought forth a soulful musical, filling the precincts with melodious Sai Bhajans in Mandarin. Through their music, they offered their gratitude for the opportunity to be in Prasanthi Nilayam and to experience the divine presence that has drawn seekers from across the world.
Earlier in the evening, Mr Mahendran Arumugam, Chairman, Zone 5, shared his thoughts with the gathering, reflecting on the significance of the devotees’ pilgrimage to Prasanthi. Expressing gratitude, he described it as a journey of love, surrender and service, reminding everyone that the true joy of being in Bhagawan’s presence lies in carrying His message back into the world through compassionate action.
This was followed by an inspiring talk by Dr Lau Keen Lee, Secretary, Sai Grace Muar, Malaysia, who spoke at length about the various service activities undertaken in Malaysia. Sharing experiences from their earlier visits to Prasanthi Nilayam, he highlighted how these pilgrimages have deepened their connection with Bhagawan and strengthened their resolve to translate His message into selfless service.
