July 14th 2025: What clouds the experience of our July 14th 2025:

What clouds the experience of our true essence? What must we do to experience it? Bhagawan lovingly explains and guides us today.

God is everywhere. You are God. It is the agglomeration of body, mind, and senses which is preventing you from recognising your inherent divinity. You are covering yourself in this manner. You are the cause of your bondage through the body and mind. When you understand the nature of the body-mind complex, you will realise your true essence. It is enough if you develop the conviction that you and the Divine are one, Aham Brahmasmi (I am Brahman). Cultivate steadfast faith in this Divine oneness through love. That love will lead you to Self-realisation. Wherever you may be and whatever you do, regard yourselves as instruments of the Divine and act on that basis. You need not wait for a whole year to observe Guru Poornima. Treat every moment of your life as being intended for dedication to the Lord. This is the way to experience the Divine all the time, at all places. This is true Sakshatkara (Vision of the Divine). Serve all and love all. Firmly believe that the Divine is in everyone and constantly act on this belief. Only by continual practice can you develop this sacred attitude.

– Divine Discourse, Jul 7, 1990.
July 13th 2025: What is the relationship we must July 13th 2025:

What is the relationship we must strive to have with Bhagawan? Bhagawan Himself explains with a beautiful example.

You must all realise that the relationship between you and Me is not related only to the physical body. Thinking only of the physical relationship, you should not waste your life. The body is a passing thing. You should concentrate on the attainment of that which is permanent and beyond the limitations of time and space. You have seen for yourself and experienced the Divine here. You must carry with you this experience and enlarge it by contemplating on it internally. Here is an example. Thousands have assembled in this Poornachandra Hall. I have been conversing with you. How long can this last? Perhaps for two or three hours. Tomorrow you will all be returning to your respective places. After you go back, the memory of what you have experienced here, Swami’s discourse to you, and the presence of thousands of devotees in the Poornachandra Hall will be etched in your mind whenever you try to recall this day. It will be a lifelong possession for you. This is because you are carrying Me in your mind. Looking at things externally, the Poornachandra hall will be before you for only a short time. But you must retain permanently what you have seen with the outward-looking eyes.

Pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam by the devotees fr Pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam by the devotees from USA, Zone 1 – SSSGC | July 11, 2025

The sacred three-day pilgrimage by devotees from the USA, belonging to the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSSGC) – Zone 1, commenced this evening at Prasanthi Nilayam with a spiritually elevating opening session.

Prof Balu Karanam, National President of SSSGC-USA, expressed profound gratitude for the divine opportunity to be in Bhagawan’s presence. Marking their third pilgrimage to Prasanthi Nilayam in just four years, he joyously noted that while “GC” in SSSGC stands for Global Council, it truly represents God’s Company—good company in the truest sense. He emphasised that Bhagawan is the source, the force, and the goal of all their endeavours, and it was with deep reverence that they offered their heartfelt gratitude at His Lotus Feet in this auspicious Centenary Year.

Ms. Sumana Murali shed light on the educational initiatives of SSSGC-USA. She highlighted that, for the very first time, the Education Wing has developed a comprehensive, year-wise curriculum for Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas (SSE) children, covering all 12 years of their foundational learning journey. This structured, value-centric approach ensures that children receive holistic spiritual and character education deeply rooted in Swami’s teachings.

She also introduced the new SSE website, featuring searchable Balvikas e-books, parent resources like the Harmonious Homes series, and an intuitive card-based interface offering easy access to audio, video, and curated learning materials. The design ensures smooth navigation and centralised support for Gurus, parents, and students alike.

This was followed by the official launch of the Sri Sathya Sai Educare Curriculum, conducted by the Trustees, senior dignitaries and functionaries.

Adding further significance to the occasion was the release of 100 Years of Pure Love, a commemorative volume brought out by Zone 3 of SSSGC in honour of Bhagawan’s Centenary Year. The book was unveiled at the Divine Sannidhi by the esteemed Trustees and officials from SSSGC–Zone 3 (Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea).

July 12th 2025: If the goal is to transform the w July 12th 2025:

If the goal is to transform the world, where must we begin? Bhagawan lovingly serves us an important reminder today.

To eliminate the mind and remove the delusions from it, desires have to be controlled. But the sadhaks of today have not reduced their desires. It must be realised that selfishness and self-centeredness have to be got rid of. Selfishness is the root cause of all the afflictions plaguing man. If the world is to be transformed, we must begin with the individual. His evil traits have to be removed. He must fill himself with sacred thoughts. To start with, the individual must reform himself. Without the individual realising his true nature, all other accomplishments are of no avail. Man is exploring the most distant regions in space, but is not moving even an inch towards understanding his heart. Is this the journey man should undertake? He must turn the mind inwards. Turning the mind towards the external world can only breed sorrow. Enduring bliss can be got only by directing the mind towards God. That is the real sadhana. Without mental transformation, all other changes are meaningless. Without changing your qualities, you remain in the same state as before. Develop good qualities and sanctify yourself.

– Divine Discourse, Jul 7, 1990.
