Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference | Day 2 – Evening Proceedings | June 7, 2025

The sacred abode of Prasanthi Nilayam witnessed yet another sublime evening during the Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference, as the penultimate session unfolded with grace, emotion, and divinity. The proceedings were adorned by inspiring talks, soul-stirring music, and heartfelt tributes to the spirit of womanhood — all offered at the Lotus Feet of Bhagawan, whose Omnipresence permeated every moment.

The evening commenced with an impactful address by Dr Geetha Kamath, Senior Oncologist at the Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, USA. With heartfelt devotion, she took the audience on a journey through her spiritual evolution, which began during a life-altering family interview with Bhagawan. Her journey into Sai medical service was divinely orchestrated. What began as modest screening camps soon blossomed into full-fledged treatment initiatives, both in the United States and at Prasanthi during sacred festivals. In November 2024, she completed 50 years of dedicated medical service — a milestone she attributed entirely to Bhagawan’s grace.

One of the most touching testimonies she shared was of a critical patient being miraculously revived after she instinctively placed her hands on the patient’s chest and began chanting “Om Sri Sai Ram.” In her words, “I am here as I am because of Him; He taught me everything.” She concluded with a moving prayer: for His Light to shine through and dispel the darkness in the hearts of mankind.

The guest speaker for the evening, Hon’ble Justice Ms Pratibha M Singh, Judge of the Delhi High Court, offered profound reflections from a life rooted in tradition, guided by wisdom, and dedicated to justice. She lovingly described the Mother’s Lap as the most powerful and sacred seat of learning — one that shapes resilience, cooperation, and emotional strength. Sharing insights from her upbringing in a joint family, she touched upon the silent sacrifices women make and the adjustments they gracefully embrace. Justice Singh also recounted a pivotal moment in her life. It was a decision, she noted, that allowed her to serve society with conscience, clarity, and compassion.

She was particularly moved by Bhagawan’s teachings on the nobility of womanhood — especially His reverence for the mother, voiced as early as the 1960s — which deeply influenced her life choices.

The evening also marked the release of two special compendiums, capturing the spirit and stories of women who walk the Sai path.

A powerful documentary followed, celebrating womanhood — a tribute to the inner strength, sacrifice, and spiritual sanctity embodied by women across ages and regions. Adding a devotional crescendo to the session was a musical offering by the Mahilas from Dharmakshetra, Maharashtra, extolling the glory of the Mother Divine and singing paeans to the universal spirit of motherhood.

As the penultimate session of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference drew to a close, the hearts of all present were left glowing with inspiration. From medical miracles to judicial journeys, from joint family wisdom to universal motherhood — the evening stood as a radiant reminder of the divine potential enshrined in every woman. Each word, each note, and each offering bore testimony to the eternal relevance of Bhagawan’s message: “There is no force more powerful in the world than the pure heart of a woman charged with selfless love.”
