Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference | Day 2 – Morning Proceedings | June 7, 2025

Celebrating the Divine Feminine through Love, Wisdom, and Service, Day 2 proceedings of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Mahila Conference unfolded in an atmosphere soaked in sacred inspiration and spiritual camaraderie.

The morning session commenced with inspiring talks by two remarkable women — both distinct in their worldly vocations, yet united in their devotion to the Sai path.

The first speaker, Ms Maya Shiva Kumar, a distinguished Bharatanatyam artiste and Bal Vikas Guru, brought to the fore the deep spiritual resonance of carrying Bhagawan’s Name. Her words, rich with experience and humility, urged every woman present to recognise the sanctity of such a divine inheritance. “To bear His Name is to bear His Light,” she said, reminding all that this blessing is not a title, but a trust. She beckoned the gathering to embody this responsibility by refining their thoughts, words, and actions.

This was followed by a compelling address by the guest speaker – Ms Usha Srikanth, a scientist at the UR Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO, and an alumna of Anantapur Campus, SSSIHL. Sharing her spiritual journey she drew a beautiful metaphor — likening the human mind to soil. Just as earth must be tilled and nurtured for the seed to sprout, so too must the mind be cultivated through the Sai path of “See Good, Do Good, Be Good.” Her words were a gentle yet profound reminder that even the ability to remember the Divine Name is itself a grace — a benediction bestowed by Bhagawan’s infinite compassion.

Following the talks, twelve distinguished women devotees from across the globe were felicitated for their outstanding contributions to the Sai Mission. Their lives, radiant with selfless service, stand as living testaments to the transformative power of spirituality in action.

An evocative audio-visual presentation then highlighted the multifaceted work being carried out under the banner of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, showcasing the deep impact of women-led initiatives in spiritual, educational, and service domains.

Culminating this elevating session was a devotional musical offering titled ‘Hridaya Samarpanam’— a soulful presentation by Mahila devotees from Tamil Nadu. Every note and lyric was a fragrant garland of love, offered at the Divine Lotus Feet, resonating with the sacred longing and joyous surrender of the feminine heart.

As the sacred chant of ‘Samasta Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu’ echoed through Prasanthi Nilayam, hearts were filled with renewed commitment — to be instruments of His Love, lights of His Wisdom, and bearers of His infinite Grace.
