Valedictory Session of Next Gen – Capacity Building Workshop | ‘Prema Aradhana’ – Devotional Music Program | April 23, 2025

The 2-day capacity-building workshop concluded on an inspiring and spiritually uplifting note, igniting a renewed sense of purpose and dedication among all participants. The final session was marked by two impactful talks followed by an oath-taking ceremony, sealing the collective commitment of the youth to be ideal instruments in Swami’s divine mission.

Sri Lakshmikanth Sharma, National Youth Coordinator, in a deeply resonant address, reminded the participants that the purpose of this conference is not to build future leaders, for in our spiritual journey, there is only one and only one true Leader – Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The role of the youth, he emphasised, is to become dedicated workers, an army of committed hearts and hands ready to carry forth His mission with unwavering resolve.

Profound resolutions were introduced under the acronym Sai UPI:

  • U – Understand Swami’s message by immersing in Sai literature and grasping the essence of His teachings.
  • P – Practice those teachings in our daily lives, embodying the transformation we seek to inspire.
  • I – Inspire others by living as shining examples and taking Swami’s message far and wide.

The session was further enriched by the uplifting address of the All India President, Sri Nimish Pandya, who emphasised the critical importance of inclusive participation, particularly encouraging the involvement of young women in leadership and service roles within the Sai Organisation. He reiterated that the Samiti remains the strongest bedrock of the Organisation – it is from here that the divine message begins its ripple effect across society. He beautifully described the youth as “young, resplendent men and women – the future torchbearers”, emphasising that the Sathya Sai youth must be a joyful collective, carrying the divine blessings of Bhagawan and radiating His love through action. The workshop concluded with an oath-taking ceremony, where every participant pledged to be steadfast in their spiritual practice, united in purpose, and ever-ready to serve selflessly as worthy instruments of Bhagawan. This workshop stands as a milestone in nurturing the next generation of Sai youth – future-ready, deeply rooted in His message, and joyously marching forward in His service.

On the sacred eve of Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam, the Prasanthi Bhajan Group offered a bouquet of 7 mesmerising devotional songs with meaningful & heart-touching commentary.

Swami, we are here before you to express gratitude, for You love us like no one has loved us before. You love us, like we didn’t know we could be loved. We are not here to thank You because our lives have no pain at all. But even pain shines with a new purpose because of You. We are not here to say, we have lost all attraction to the world, but because of You, we search for that bliss we feel in Your presence in all pleasures of life, not finding it in them, we lose interest in them. We are not here because desires don’t gnaw at our hearts any more, or the seeking for more doesn’t burden our lightness anymore. But the desire to be with You, has become the flame that is growing slowly consuming all the other petty ones. We are here to make one prayer Swami. May the Dhara of Aradhana to you become very Adhar of our Ananda. This is the prayer of this Prema Aradhana.
