Amidst the sacred fervour of the Navaratri and Dasara celebrations at Prasanthi Nilayam, popular star couple Mr Vijay Deverakonda and Ms Rashmika Mandanna visited the holy abode of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba this Thursday, seeking His Divine Blessings.
The couple attended the sacred proceedings of the Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajna, witnessing the age-old Vedic rituals and immersing themselves in the divine vibrations of the Navaratri festivities. They offered their heartfelt obeisances at Bhagawan’s Divya Sannidhi and spent precious moments in the sanctity of the Bhajan Hall, soaking in its serene and spiritually uplifting ambience.
For Vijay, an alumnus of the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, the visit brought back cherished memories of his school days in the Divine presence. Recalling those formative years, he fondly remembered participating in the Yajna proceedings, chanting the sacred Vedic mantras in unison with the priests, with youthful enthusiasm and devotion.
For Rashmika, this maiden visit to Puttaparthi marked the fulfilment of a long-cherished wish to visit the holy abode and seek Bhagawan’s Blessings. Deeply moved by the spiritual atmosphere, she shared how an extraordinary sense of calm and tranquillity enveloped her upon entering the Ashram. The resonant Vedic chants and, above all, the sacred Arati left a profound impression on her heart, making the experience truly special and memorable.
